Mirada Plumbers is a referral service. We connect homeowners in Whittier and nearby cities with independent, licensed plumbing contractors. We are not a plumbing contractor. We do not perform plumbing work, and we do not hold a contractor’s license.
Who does the work
Every job is quoted, performed and warranted by the independent plumbing company you are matched with. Your agreement for the work is with that company, not with Mirada Plumbers. Their license, insurance, pricing, scheduling and workmanship are their responsibility.
How we are paid
Calling us is free for you. The plumbing companies we refer calls to pay us a fee for each referred call.
What we check, and what we don’t
We ask the companies we refer to show a current California C-36 plumbing license and proof of insurance. We do not inspect their work, supervise jobs, or guarantee results. Licenses can lapse or change after we check them.
How to check a license yourself
California plumbing contractors must hold a CSLB C-36 license, and the law requires the license number in their advertising and contracts. Ask any plumber for their number and check it at cslb.ca.gov before work begins.
Look for an active status, a C-36 classification, and a business name that matches the company at your door. Use the “Check a License” search at cslb.ca.gov.

Prices shown are typical ranges for planning only, with their source and date shown next to them. Your quote depends on your home and the job. Local rules summarized here, such as permits and sewer lateral responsibility, are drawn from city and county sources listed on the relevant pages.
